Abstract

Our proposal focuses on the strategies of interorganizational cooperation between associations providing social and medico-social services in the context of binding institutional pressures. We underline how organizations transform these pressures into strategic opportunities. Far away from isomorphic trends often identified, we characterize different types of cooperation processes. Involving new arrangement of resources, these cooperations can be considered as innovations. A neo-institutionalist perspective and strategic analysis support our empirical studies in the last five years in France.
